The Mummy

We will be catching “The Mummy” on Friday, June 9 with a podcast on our thoughts for the following week. “The Mummy” starring Tom Cruise marks the first movie in Universal Studio’s revival of classic monster flicks also known as the Dark Universe series. As you can imagine we are very excited and a bit nervous for this revival.
It Comes At Night
Many may have not seen trailers for “It Comes At Night” since it first premiered at a film festival and is currently overshadowed by “The Mummy’s” release. However it’s potentially a new take on zombies? aliens? creatures from the great beyond? We’re not exactly sure just yet, but we plan to find out.
Transformers: The Last Knight
“Transformers: The Last Knight” is a movie Steve and I are quite indifferent about seeing. However after reading the film will involve concepts from Arthurian myths and World War II it suddenly transformed to a must see.
47 Meters Down

I’ll admit Steve sort of talked me into this one, but after seeing the trailers it certainly captured my curiosity because it’s been a while since I’ve seen a good shark movie. “47 Meters Down” will either be amusing or awful, but we plan to find out.

Disclaimer- “The Mummy” will definitely be reviewed on Worth A Watch podcast, however we may only do either “It Comes At Night,” “Transformers: The Last Knight,” or “47 Meters Down” depending on time constraints and other movies coming out in July. We posted about all four movies in order to inform listeners on films we are excited about!
